"Wake Me Up" Hits No. 1 [ 2013-11-15 ] Mike Einziger, co-writer of Avicii's global hit "Wake Me Up" and co-founder of the rock group Incubus , signed an exclusive worldwide deal with UMPG for all future works, including "Wake Me Up." Einziger has established himself as one of music's most talented and successful songwriters by working with a wide range of artists across all musical genres and has sold over 30 million records globally as a founder of the rock group Incubus.
His deal with UMPG encompasses his future works as well as Avicii's hit "Wake Me Up." Since its release in June, "Wake Me Up" has sold over two million copies in the US and become an international hit, rising to No. 1 in 28 countries around the world. |
